Dark brown color. Light fairly passes through the edge. Small head which settles to rim bubbles leaving a fine ring of lace and little else.
I get coffee and ash to the nose.
The flavor leans sweet but the aforementioned aromas are also present on the tongue. Plenty of alcohol warmth, particularly in the swallow and sweet aftertaste. Rich body with a low carbonation level.
