The Dry Irish stout was just that....a dry irish stout.....was it good...yeah....did I like it.....yeah....do I prefer Dry Irish stouts....there ok. This one looked and smelled like most. The mouthfeel was lighter in body which made it easy to drink. Overall it was a fine take on a classic beer style.

A: pours a dark black with a nice silky head that lasts a few minutes before lacing glass. Remnants remain on the surface and return with a swirl
S: light, but there is a roasted light coffee scent. Can sense a slight astringent bitter smell.
T: pretty much on par with the style. Weak coffee and roasted-to-burnt nut. Ending is a little dry but is contrasted by that light astringent bitterness.
M: a slight bit on the weak side, the carbonation doesn't come through strong. Lingering dryness.
O: The taste has a little more depth than a Guinness, but is lacking in smoothness and feel. There is nothing wrong with this beer, but nothing special either. A good interpretation, in my mind.
