Trying Seeing Colors at the brewery. It poured clear amber with white head that is not leaving any lace. The scent is a spice that I can't place...but along the lines of ginger or rhubarb. The taste is interesting it's close to a xmas like ale...holiday spice is dominant. The Mouthfeel is lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it's ok....glad to have tried it....but not a fav of mine.

A: Pours a amber brown with a nice head
S: Smells of malt and herbs/spices
T: A winter ale taste with good maltiness. Has a flavor of nutmeg and cloves
M: Smooth and medium bodies.
O: This is a very good beer for the cooler months. It is not too heavy but the spices and aroma warm you up.

Seeing Colors Spiced Autumn Ale is a great brew, but the listing needs updating. The bottle says this is a 5.5% ABV spiced brown ale. No mention of pumpkin. Malty, spice comes through without being overpowering, creamy head retention. Enjoyed it.

Pours a solid clear amber with a moderate off-white head. Leaves some lacing as you enjoy the beer. Some spice and pumpkin in the nose. Some bitterness and spice in the mouth as well. Nice, not overwhelming.

Nice, deep pumpkin brown color with average head and lacing. Another pumpkin beer, with aromas of pumpkin and watered down dry spice. Taste is ok with the dry spice bitterness just a touch too much. Balance is ok, but this one is just too much like the others !!

5.5% ABV according to the bottle, not 6.3.
Orange-amber in color with light haze and a 1 1/2 finger off white head. Minimal lacing.
Pumpkin and spice (ginger and pumpkin pie spice) on the aroma, not surprisingly.
A slightly "off" bitter flavor dominates the taste early on, but this balances out by the second bottle. Faint sweet malts, with rather light pumpkin and spice and a lasting moderately bitter finish.
Medium in body. Light carbonation. Light stickiness.
Not bad, and better once I got through the first bottle. I would have preferred it to be sweeter and a bit more assertive in the spicing and pumpkin. I've only sampled bottled brews from Parkway, and I thought they were awesome early on, but they seem to be settling back into the mainstream. Microbrew-wise that is, not so far as the macros. Still, I'll try anything Parkway puts out.
