Majestic golden pour with peppery scent that grabs you, grapefruit, pineapple and orange notes, strong hops that are not over bearing, nice finish that stays with you for full satisfaction.

Golden yellow in color and light haze, with a 3 finger off white head that leaves thick lacing.

Robust herbal/floral hops. Doughy with light caramel.

Sweet, doughy, caramel malts with bitter, herbal hops.

Moderate in body with light stickiness. Drying in the end.

One of the best DIPAs ever! Awesome aroma and taste. Great retention!

From the growler, it pours a golden amber color with a modest head that lasts for a while. Nicely scented with citrus - pineapple, etc. Taste is strong - with a bit of pepper in the finish. Wow!

Just got the newest batch, well done parkway. Citrusy, hoppy, but not overbearing. Very refreshing for a DIPA, not an overbearing malt like some other DIPA. Great brew from Salem, VA.

Hazy golden brew with big choppy white head

Big tropical scent. Pineapple, grapefruit.

Flavor follows the scent nicely. Grapefruit and orange peel. A little bit of spice - maybe coriander. Some heat - both from a peppery finish - and noticeably alcohol. Could use some more foundation to keep it from being just a hop bomb.

Perfect creaminess mouthfeel and welcomed moderation in carbonating.

Great DIPA.

This was a very very very good poured a nice clear copper with white head that laced down the glass. The scent was a sweet yet pungent splurge of pine and citrus. The taste was evenly balanced for an ipa with 165 IBU rating. There was enough of the right sweet malt to ease the bitterness and mask the higher abv. The mouthfeel was fuller in body with smooth carbonation. Overall this was a winner!

On tap at whole foods. Pours a clear golden with nice head. Smells of citrus, maybe grapefruit. Taste is a little tasty with a bite of bitterness. Maybe centennial hops, but must be a mix.

Nose bright with tropical hints. Taste delivers with abundant pineapple notes, as juicy as a new new England IPA but more pineapple than that style's tendencies towards tangerines and burnt orange. Delicious. Will be on look out to get again.

Waited a long time to try this and it did not disappoint! Great DIPA from a great local brewery, which is huge because there aren't too many great DIPAs brewed in the area! This one should get them some big time recognition, too. Dank and pungent with a great citrusy, piney flavor with a malt bone that is stellar too.

On tap:
Beer pours a nice golden with an orangish hue, high clarity. Head is soapy and spots the surface after receding; it also form decently thick at the edges to supply good lacing.

The nose is ok, but fairly standard, with hints of tropical fruit (I got some citrus initially when the pour was colder).

The taste is fruit-sweet, tropical in nature. As the beer warms, the fruitiness can be better discerned as tart, with maybe some grapefruit in there. I would describe the malt as cracker, but am still learning to discern such flavors. The body is medium, the carbonation adding some bite earlier and colder in taste. The piney and somewhat oily dryness builds slowly through the mid-to-late tastes.

Nice offering, but fairly standard. As a faitly local option, I'd grab again if so inclined. If you want another beer for your resume, I doubt you'll hate this if you like IPAs, but I wouldn't expect to love it either. If I were to do precise, I'd probably give it a straight 3.75.
