From the pint cn, it pours a clear solid amber color with a nice, long lasting off-white head. Unsurprisingly, the nose gets a pleasant scent of grapefruit. The mouth gets a sold East Coast IPA with grapefruit overtones and a bit of sour tingles the cheeks.

Get Bent Grapefruit has an unfiltered look with some haziness and very moderate carbonation with a careful pour. The smell is grapefruit forward with some muted smell of piney hops. Purchased 3-23 at local Throx, about the only place I have found Parkway beers near Winchester, VA on a regular basis. The taste is exceptional being hops-grapefruit foward which is always a good go-to for juice added to an IPA. The alcohol content of 7.2 isn't as boozy as you would expect perhaps hidden in the very well-balanced juice flavoring. The pith of the brew makes the mouthfeel more muted and less carbonation bite comes through as a result. Overall a very good representation of the style of grapefruit-infused IPA. Comparable to a certain high-rated "Sculpin" beer most have discovered by now -- this brew probably has more fruit-forward flavor and less carbonation. I found this very drinkable and would purchase again.

A very good IPA, but I had a better beer from a nearby competitor the same occasion - Pale fire arrant by a Harrisonburg brewery. Watch out or collaborate, guys! :)

On tap:
Had this twice recently, one came off a bit better than the other, but both close.
A grapefruit obvious, classic bitter IPA. The juice came out more in one tasting, the pith seemed a bit more prevalent in the other. The slightly raw bitterness showed up in both cases. The grapefruit "juice" was nicely represented in the better version.
Very limited exposure shows a variation, though the explanation is not obvious. The better version had a lighter feel that exposed the grapefruit nicely, then let the beer take over. I'd like to hope more people find this version.
The other was a fine, pithy and earthy/piney IPA that was decent enough but could've been a regular IPA that had hops giving the grapefruit impression.

Pours golden orange with a 3 finger white head that leaves decent lacing. Rather hazy.
Awesome aroma! Smelled like a Christmas tree when I popped the cap. Fresh citrus.
More fresh citrus with bitter grapefruit peel. More sweet than bitter overall, though. The malts shine through.
Medium bodied with good retention leaving a pleasant syrupy coating on the tongue ane mouth.
I really like this beer. It's well rounded and well balanced. It smells, tastes, and feels great! Too bad it's discontinued.
