Triple A is a bready, malty Amber Ale, with a slight sweetness and a dry finish. With just enough hops to add a pleasant bitterness, the 5.4% ABV allows you to enjoy more than one of these easy drinkers.

16 Oz can from Total Wine and More in Short Pump, VA The amber ale poured an opaque dark amber-brown with an off-white head and ample lacing. The aroma of caramel malts and bready notes greets you. The flavors of caramel malts and mild hops lead to a nicely balanced ale, not too sweet. The ale has a medium body and average-soft carbonation.

Pours a clear medium amber color, off white colored head. Toasty malt aroma amd flavor. Pretty well balanced, not too sweet. Mouthfeel is pretty smooth.

From the pint can, it pours a clear amber color with a overly huge distracting off-white head that slowly reduces and leaves lacing. Scent is malty with caramel notes. Taste is light and pleasant.

Most likely a canning issue.

On tap:
A nice medium amber with a slight rusty hue. Just off-white head seems to initially seems to want to fizzle away, but drops to a mixed foam and soap cap. Lacing is fairly strong, at least initially.

The nose consists of almost burnt toast, caramel malt and an indistinct spice blend. There’s a light mineral leaning metallic note, but it’s something I often get with amber ales.

Taste starts of leaning on the brown ale toasted side, but is tethered by that slightly metallic mineral note that hits in back. There’s a hint of dark cherry mid taste, which is accompanied by an earthy fall spice more slightly more obvious than in the nose.

The beer is well balanced, leaning on the malt flavor a bit, but not on the sweetness. A semi-dry finish, I’d say, has a little fruity aspect: plum, red wine grape.

Initially on a sample pour, I thought this had a Märzen feel, then even a pumpkin ale flavor. There are some parts that are shared, but this is a nicely balanced amber ale overall. I’m not a huge fan of the style, but this has a little more body to it and a more earthy quality (including the spice notes) that appeals to me.

A very solid beer for the style. Extremely accessible for people who like malty Amber ales. Nice notes of caramel and a slightly hoppy after taste. I'd order it again.
