We take almost 600 pounds of raspberries and lovingly pump them into our Raven's Roost Baltic Porter. What happens is magical and decadent. Flavors of rich chocolate, tart yet sweet berry, and roast coffee dominate this almost sinful beer. There have rarely been more perfect meldings of beer and fruit than this. Look no further.

On tap:
Clean black body with a beige head that forms a thin, opaque spiderweb pattern on the surface. Medium thick mostly tight ring provides some lacing which itself fades to spots.
The nose is also clean - a mocha-like coffee-leaning malt profile with a nice dose of raspberry tang that pairs nicely with the malt.
Berry hits up front with a little tartness before quickly entering a twirling dance with the malt. The malt meets the expectations from the nose, and the raspberry-specific nature of that berry opening spreads before mid-taste. A little bit aggressive on the carbonation; while the bubbles feel miniscule, there appear to be a lot of them. Medium leading light, a fairly clean ending leaves just a hint of dark chocolate and raspberry.
Quite tasty; the raspberry is integrated fairly well in that it is obvious but doesn’t turn this to a juicy drink. The raspberry could be slightly less, like the carbonation, of the two nits I feel to pick. I’m going to have to try the base beer (which I liked in the past) again after trying this.
