During my wife's and my recent beer/wine/triathlon vacation in NZ we decided to stop into Good George for some brew and pizza. Between my wife and I, we had several of their offerings in a single sitting since we had nowhere else to be.
This beer pours a straw/golden color that is clear with light carbonation and a small, foamy white head that dissipates quickly to a thin lacing. 3.5/5 The aroma is balanced between malty and hoppy with white bread and cracker providing a grainy note for the malt and a grassy note for the hops. Very simple and straightforward aroma here. 3.75/5 The flavor is once again well balanced with buttered white bread, caramel, raw grain, and white bread providing the notes for the malt and fresh cut grassy showcasing the hop variety used. Bitterness is light in nature and does not linger after swallowing. The flavor profile is very clean tasting. 3.5/5 This is a light bodied beer that is crisp, wet and coating (coating and crisp...interesting combination here). There is no drying to speak of and just a light carbonation tickle up front. 3.75/5 This is a well balanced, sessionable pilsner that somewhat draws a middle ground between the German and Czech styles. It is very clean and thirst quenching, which is excellent to go along with the pizza that I ordered. 3.75/5

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
