I grew up on Redhook ESB & IPA, as they had a brewery in Portsmouth, NH. & Breakside took me back to then!
Rated @ 43 IBUs & 5.8% ABV, Old World is simply magical. Poured brassy/copper from my hinged growler (I always drink from an imperial pint), slight cream head & reserved malt nose is textbook. Starts an unreal malt spine w/ cascading hop character, finishing bitter for a masterful execution. It took me right back to that Ballard Bitter...just exponentially better!
