Nearly fully opaque purple-ish red--it's really closer to Halloween lips than purple--with a short but creamy white head that leaves some stretchy arms of lace on the glass.
I would have thought this would be more thick and savory, but it's watery with candy or Kool-Aid qualities, and perhaps a little light toasty cracker.
