16oz can served in a footed pilsner glass. Canned 04/23/24. Bought it about a week ago at Chuck's Hop Shop Seward Park.
Pours clear light yellow with a fairly large head, moderate carbonation sustaining it, settles slowly into a thick foamy cap that is much higher around the edges than in the middle. Smell is grains and flowers with a little bit of bread yeast in the background. Some lemon.
Taste is, surprisingly, a bit on the zesty side -- citrus, lime and lemon, but certainly not lacking in the grain department. Malty, bready all over the place, a little honeysuckle sweetness. Moderate earthy bitterness to balance out the floral and honey sweetness.
Mouthfeel is very light, very clean. Overall, this is a nice beer, quite enjoyable and quite light.

Look: Pale yellow and crystal clear with a ton of bubbles rushing up to form a dense white head that slowly puckers away to reveal good lacing left behind
Aroma: Straw, cut grass, floral hops, soda crackers, light honey, and pilsner malt
Taste: Follows the nose well except on the start, which has a nice lemongrass note along with the cut grass I got in the nose. Floral hops dance atop straw and cracker-led malt throughout and closes with a nice honey note
Mouthfeel: Light but not watery, extremely clean, medium-high carbonation, and crisp and clean on the finish
Overall: I dig it. These folks can do no wrong in my book and I passed this over several times before finally grabbing some, which is fitting given the 100+ temps today. Super tasty, ridiculously refreshing, well-made, and quaffable, which is exactly what I look for in a Helles Lager. Recommended

everything these guys make is so good, and here is a super light take on a helles for summer, low alcohol, minimal in body, crisp and easy all the way, i think a little mellow overall, especially compared to some european counterparts, but i like its breezy nature and could make a day of these. blonde and sunny and somewhat fizzy, with a nice airy big bubbled white head holding well, near clear, totally sparkling and inviting. the nose is pretty subtle really, smells like pils malt, old world lager yeast, and just lightly citrusy hops, nice balance and refinement, but not one of those helles types that has all that structure and moves from honey to dry cereal over the course of each sip, to me this is crisp from the get go, no complaint there at all, and what we give up in grain character, we more than gain back in refreshment value. it still hits classically german to me, nice water chemistry and mineral composition, nice long lagered snappiness, and it would fill a dimpled mug just fine, its just a somewhat lighter take. the yeast is right on, the fermentation very complete this is dry as a bone, and the hops come out a bit more as it warms, some bitterness, some noble herbal character, all the elements are here. light enough to replace a macro yellow beer for many people i would think, class all the way once again from breakside.

16oz can from Boise Co-op. Cloudy yellow pour, foamy head settles down quickly. Bready, biscuity aroma. Taste is bready, sweet, and a touch of dryness. Simple, clean and so delicious. Hits on all cylinders.

Clear golden amber brew with plenty of foam in the Maredsous goblet. I don't actually detect any aroma, but a slight beery smell. Watery body with lots of spritz. Dry, bubbly, and sharp. The flavor is not very malty, except for a touch of corn. Very plain soda water taste that reminds me of a macro lager with a little resin. Mineral finish and a slight metallic bitterness. The brewers seemed to be striving for something a little too sublime for mortals. From the 16 oz can purchased at Elizabeth Station. Dated 04/23/24.
