Different kind of pale ale. I like the hops used, but the flavors are very mellow. Not bad, but not great. I would like to try this on draft, but the robustness would probably not be improved.

16 fl oz. can, no canned on date present, but I know this beer is fresh. About as local as it gets, beer from the neighboring village of Lombard, Illinois. 5.3% Pale Ale, brewed with Lemon Drop Hops.

Poured into a clear balloon snifter.

A - Pours a nice bright golden orange body, about a finger of frothy white head that leaves good strands of scattered lacing. Some chill haze and some active carbonation.

S - The aroma is nice; the lemon drop hops are a nice addition. Fruity, floral, some mild horseradish type aroma. Citrus & notes of lemon juice are also apparent. Mild pale bready malts.

T - Taste follows the nose: citrusy, lemony, bready, & malty. Mildly resinous / bitter. A very nice pale ale.

M - The feel is smooth, crisp, & easy-drinking. Medium-light bodied, with good carbonation.

Overall, an excellent local pale ale from Flesk Brewing. A nice format for this one also, for that matter. Definitely looking forward to more cans from these guys!
