Deliciously cloudy lemon yellow with velvet white cup, scented to peppers, earth and yeast, in the drunk they are accompanied by some malting, dry bitter and acidic waves

On tap at Hoender en Hop. Hazy lemon yellow with a velvety white head. Notes of yeast, lemons, bread dough, flowery hops. Medium to light bodied, medium carbonation.

A very pale yellow-orange colour with a modest and fast disappearing head of foam. Smell of yeast, earth and peppers. These flavours also appear in the taste, together with some malty notes. A dry and bitter saison, especially in the swallowing. There is also some sourness. A light mouth feel, a bit watery even. A decent dry saison, but i want a bit more intensity in my brews. Both taste and mouth feel are a bit weak to be honest. A very good thirst quencher nonetheless.

According to the label this is a mix of a dry saison and a witbier and uses late dry-hopping.
It pours a very pale slightly murky orange with a fast disappearing white foam. not much carbonation visible.
I smell koriander and the typical earthy saison yeast profile, with a little bit of spicy hops
taste is quite funky, with some bitterness and dry towards the end
flat in the beginning but then quite some hidden carbonation.
A bit disappointing for a saison from one of my best loved breweries. The carbonation is somehow wrong and just opens in the mouth. Aroma and taste are OK, but also suffer from the weird carbonation. Anyway with just 5% ABV a very refreshing saison for the summer time.
