Ton of vinegar on the nose. Tannins, oak, brown sugar.
Lighter on the palate, not super sour. Oak, brown sugar, tannins, light funk and vinegar.
Silky on the palate; medium bodied.

On-tap at Dahlia’s Pour House in Jax. This is seriously well-crafted. Not sure if it’s the only version of this beer or if this is a barrel-aged version of their saison with this name. Menu didn’t say anything. Regardless, it’s superb. Lots of funk and wood and some tart fruit along with a hint of Brett in the finish. Reminds me of Allagash Interlude, if I remember that beer correctly. Boozy yet not too sweet and a pleasure to drink. Well done!
