Hope is being able to see that there is light despite all of the darkness." - Desmond Tutu. Seeing the good in people has given us hope, we wanted to give you some too. This NE IPA is brewed with tangerine, grapefruit, lactose, and optimism for the future. Straight juice with a dash of fruit tartness.

Canning date smudged but clearly from 2026. Most foam from a pour I have ever seen! An eruption, truly. Bits of orange zest visible in the foam. Maybe the most particulate matter in a hazy IPA I have seen, too. That said, very much as advertised...major league citrus fruit on the nose and palate.

This one surprised me. Reading the additions, I’d never have ordered it, but my girlfriend did. It initially seemed pretty balanced, but there is a bit more juice (tangerine then grapefruit) in it. This messes a little with the nose and definitely with the feel, but the beer provides a base an comes through in the end.
Tangerine heavy nose that still has some grapefruit and a few pine needles in there. Tangerine juice up front with a little mango, and then the grapefruit comes in, aiding an ending that reaches back just a little to the old days of pith and pine bitterness. The finish even has a bitter side to it. Oddly enjoyable, though not a typical brew.

Hope is a good thing. Perhaps the best of things. Another great offering from La Cabra. This one really has that milkshake IPA taste as it’s brewed with lactose. Tastes like a creamsicle.

Actually really nice super hazy milkshake look to this brew with a quickly faded white head. Really lemon or bitter citrus nose on this baby, sorta concerned. Taste is mild juicy citrus and low bite, somewhat sweet. Fizzy and at least medium in feel. I think this is pretty decent here. Thanks to my wife’s friend for providing this beer.
