Dinkel De Miel Saison

Had this recently on-tap at the brewery. This beer is a collaboration that Bottlehouse did with Platform Brewing Company. Served to me in a tulip glass, this beer draws a clear, medium copper color with some nice streams of bubbles constantly rising to the beer's surface. Has a head that is about 1/2 of an inch when first served that settles to a nice medium sized ring lining the inside of the glass with only a little bit of lacimg on the inside of the glass. Aromas of some caramel malt sweetness, a bit of musty funk, and some peppery notes are all present. Flavors of some malty sweetness and a bit of yeasty funk that gives way to spicy notes of Szechuan peppers. Rounds out with a nice hop presence. Has a nice crisp, yet smooth and frothy, slightly prickly, medium to full bodied mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. Excellent drinkability!
