(L) Grapefruit juice, orange-ish pink hue, healthy half-inch head of foam, strong head retention, beautiful thick lacing remains throughout glass
(S) Yeasty, with a strong strawberry-banana-smoothie nose, also a subtle hint of maltyness
(T) Strong malt back, fruit is there but not as sweet as I was expecting, strawberry still comes through though, well balanced but maybe a little extra carb than needed, like grapefruit juice, dry tangy bitterness is a welcome finish, quite distinct from the nose
(F) Crisp carb provides a nice hotness or fizz on the tongue, also a nice milky chewiness, those might seem like opposites but its incredibly soft at the front of the palette, and as it proceeds and warms there is a tart bitterness in the finish
(O) The strawberry banana smoothie nose has you preparing for a super fruity sweet beer and then, instead, you get this refreshing citrusy bitterness with a full mouthfeel and powerful carbonation. If I had any suggestion for this beer id say less carb would bring out more fruit and rhubarb. This beer was basically unobtainable but, given the popularity, I hope it will be back. Also had the chance to try it fresher on draft and the strawberry fruit flavors were really front and center then. As you’d expect that super fruitiness cooled off in the 4 or so weeks since I had it on draft but still a damn refreshing well-balanced beer.

Look: light red hue, slightly pink
Smell: summer, pie...a very fruity smell that creates a euphoric bliss
Taste: pie in a glass. This beer has a slight tartness with a great mild sweetness. A great balance of strawberry and rhubarb.
Feel: light, easy summer drinking.
Overall: a fantastic beer that I wouldn't have any other way. Absolutely delicious!
