A nice seasonal/rotating release from Basil T's. ABV is unknown and I've heard different Bartenders call it ESB or Bitter. Judging by the amount of flavor here I think it definitely tends toward the Special or ESB end of the scalte.

A - Scoped out a friend's pint, as I had it in my mug club ceramic mug so I couldn't see mine. Nice finger of white head on top of a brew hanging in the middle between copper and golden color. Nice looking.

S - Fairly subdued yet inviting hops along with a touch of grainy base malt.

T - A nice taste. Graininess over a nice earthy hop flavor. Nothing overpowering. Some malt sweetness makes its presence known keping the brew to style.

M - Light to medium bodied with some prickly carbonation.

D - Goes down nice and easy. ABV's are generally held in check at Basil T's so I think this could make a nice session brew.

Notes: Nice to see at Basil T's when you want to change pace from the other pale/amber styles there. The pale sticks more with citrusy (I believe it's all Cascade for flavor/aroma)
while the Red really has a beautiful malt sweetness balanced by Crystal but doesn't have a ton of hop flavor. This one kind of sits in the middle for when you don't want to go all the way in either direction but want to have a few.
