Saucony Creek Brewing Co. "Mandarin Orange Shandy"
1 pint can, "CANNED ON 03/09/22 08:56 SWEET NECTAR". Sampled on 07/03/22
Notes via stream of consciousness: It appears appropriately orange in color and hazy in the full pint, topped by a short cap of white foam. The aroma is clearly of orange, and it appears authentic. What does the label say? Interestingly, nothing. I thought that you had to list additional ingredients on the label. On to the taste... it tastes like orange soda mixed with a golden lager. That's what I expected. Just prior to this I had a shandy that was more like beer with a little flavoring added - which was cool - but it wasn't what I was expecting from a "shandy". It's sweetish but not too sweet. In the mouth it's medium bodied and crisp. The head dies away fairly quickly but that's to be expected, and of course there's no lacing. On a hot day a shandy can be just what you need!
