A 330ml bottle with a BB of Sept 2013 (bottled May 2013), so it's just out of date. Picked up recently from Trembling Madness in York. While the label lacks an explicit description, I presume this is a saison hopped with Citra.
Poured into a Delirium chalice. Bottle conditioned - this one's a bit of a gusher. A very hazy orange-amber hue with chunky sediment and prolific carbonation. Produces a vast head of white, meringue-like foam with superb stability; this slowly reduces to a thick surface layer. Some lacing. Aroma of fruity yeast esters and hops with hints of grapefruit, lime, citrus, clove, spice, bubblegum, faint banana, a touch of mint, earthy yeast and caramel malt. Seriously yeasty.
Tastes of fruity yeast mingled with aromatic hops. Notes of lime, orange peel, subtle grapefruit, white grape, mild banana, clove, spice, bubblegum, phenolics, earthy yeast, faint malt and stewed hops. Highly attenuated, followed by a restrained, leafy bitterness upon swallowing. Mouthfeel is smooth, tingly and bone-dry, with spritzy carbonation and good body. Rather astringent, accompanied by an aftertaste of aromatic hops, fruity yeast and earthiness.
Quality - a modern take on a classic style. Looks great, while the aroma and flavour are dominated by the yeast, resulting in a complex, fruity character. Nice body. Partizan demonstrate their skill at selecting appropriate ingredients to blend; the citrus hops and saison yeast complement each other well. A solid effort that is definitely worth sampling if you have the chance.

330ml bottle bought online from Ales By Mail
Poured a nice light golden orange colour with a slight haze. White head poured pretty big, thick and fluffy with a pock marked topping then faded slowly to patchy covering... quite a lot of carbonation rushes to the surface... some good patchy lacing...
Aroma - Big blast of tropical juicy citra hops followed by light spicy tart fruits (apples, pears, light lemon zest), grassy, hay notes, light nuttiness, metallic notes, quite floral, some talcum powder, quite yeasty, light caramel sweetness, faint rubbery hints...
Taste - Quite a lot of spicy yeastiness followed by juicy fruits (apples, pears, light pineapple), slight vegetal notes, metallic, some chalkiness, salty notes, light toasted biscuit malts, bready, light floral honey sweetness, faint caramel, grassy hops...
Feel - Pretty sharp and dry... Light body... Very quaffable...
Overall - An excellent hopped up saison and yet another fine brew from Partizan... recommended
