Dark dark brown, with ruby highlights when held to the light. Still has three fingers of light tan head on day two of the growler. Lacing covered the majority of the glass.

Light, inviting mocha aroma. Coffee without the deep roast, milk chocolate.

Taste has sweetness, coffee, and chocolate up front. Solid hop bite at he swallow. Best of all is he maple syrup and nut finish.

Mouthfeel is medium plus. Could be a bit chewier.

A tasty porter with a nifty twist of maple. Drove by the brewery while weekending in Lake Placid. Found nothing on BA. Even the wife says to check it out. Personable owner/brewer. Open seven weeks at that point. Dark lager and pale ale also on tap that day. Very glad I stopped. Looking forward to a return visit next year.
