16oz draft pour into a tall tulip boasts a hazy amber body with 1/4in tan head leaving some spotted lacing.
Aromas are complex and rich. Vanilla, caramel, citrus (or rind), malt, toast, and peach/plum.
Flavors are more focused malt and stone fruit.
Full mouthfeel, almost creamy, leaving a slight sweet taste behind.
Very nice with a bacon blue cheese burger.

Had a glass at Horse Thief and then at home poured from growler. Handsome beer, dark amber, nice lacing. Nose is of spent grain, slightly soapy, sweet. Smooth round mouthfeel, slight carbonation, nice. Taste balanced with a tip to the malt, a bit of burnt sugar. Finish a bit disappointing, fades. Overall a nice beer.
