Deep black, highlights of mahogany with a tan fluffy head. It's leaving some decent lacing as I drink it. From the first crack of the bottle I got aromas of figs, raisins and chocolate. Taste is light coffee, chocolate, smooth whiskey with no burn, some roast, vanilla and a hint of marshmallow fluff. The body is velvet smooth but lacking a touch. Finishes with a chalky dry finish. Great drinkability on this beer.

Of the three variants brewed in 2015, the barrel-aged was a 5 and the spiral was just a step behind. This version of the beer AMB originally dubbed "Corruption" was their best brew yet for dark beer lovers!
