Appearance: Arrives without much of a head covering the coffee brown liquid; minimal lacing
Smell: Belgian chocolate and tart dark fruit tones
Taste: Belgian chocolate forward with the pomegranate tones building with a tart, lactic character; modest tones of salt arrive, after the swallow, and linger into the finish
Mouthfeel; Light bodied with moderate carbonation
Overall: When the beer arrived at the bar I thought the bartender had poured the wrong beer as I have never seen a brown gose; the more I tasted and thought about this, however, I just marveled at the creativity of the brewer here
