Look: It pours golden and clear with an off white head. Head retention is excellent.

Smell: It has mango and peach aromas. There are some papaya elements in the background.

Taste: The papaya and mango are more dominant that the peach in the flavor. The flavors are soft and not so much in your face.

Feel: It has a medium body.

Overall, a flavorable and easy drinking beer. The description is pretty much what you get.

Enjoy by Jun 09 23

A: Clear light amber with two finger off white foamy head with good retention and solid lacing

S: Aroma is light, overall with some orange and lemon citrus, grapefruit, and lime. No discernible malt aroma. Clean without esters.

T: Flavor is light Dash medium intensity with more breath of fruit flavor. Hot flavors include grapefruit, lime, orange citrus, coupled with papaya and more fruit cocktail elements. Malt background is present but not obtrusive. Clean without yeast character. Bitterness is low. Alcohol is hidden.

M: Feel is light in body with high carbonation and relatively dry finish. Easily drinkable.

O: Hop Rain Drop IPA from AMB is a good summer drinker, given its light aroma, flavor, and mouth feel intensity level.

On tap in a standard pint glass.

Bright and translucent golden color brew, the white cap is not quite up to 1f but it holds up and leaves lots of web lacing.

Aromas are a stone and light tropical fruit mix. Peach, mango, and breaded malt.

The peach flavor is up front with caramel malt.

Pretty solid medium body with strong hop bitterness.

Fresh and well rounded modern IPA, tropical and fruity with a good malt base, and no juice.

Wish I knew which hop variety or brewing method gives this and a number of other IPAs a boiled/burned type of bitterness that I don't like. That way I could avoid them. Never tasted it in a Sierra Nevada brew.

Picked up a 12 oz single as part of a mixed sixer from the Ingles cooler on Spartanburg Highway 1-20-22 for $1.83. Enjoy by 5-2-22; consumed 4-20-22. Cold stored since purchase.

Beer poured gold with a pretty good white head.

Nose is tropical forward along with some stone fruit.

Taste is a lighter pale malt base that displays papaya, gooseberry, and peach. Finishes with a nice pithy bitterness; 6/10 on my scale.

Mouthfeel is light bodied and very refreshing.

Overall a solid hybrid IPA!
