Stouts, as a rule, are toasty and drinkable. This is no exception. The dark color belies a deep sweetness, and a warming bourbon heat. The perfect beer for winter. Utterly enjoyable.

On tap at the SD Taproom 9th anniversary on 02/27/16.
Pours opaque black with a thick khaki head. The smell is of cinnamon, cocoa and vanilla. The taste is dominated by cinnamon with some chocolate and a maple finish. Way too much cinnamon for my taste.
