This is the first beer I have tried that is a golden stout. Not sure what to think. For me this beer is oxymoronic, with words like latte, nitro, and golden stout. All those words for me conjures up a lovely dark stout. The beer is 44 degrees and served in pint glass. The pour of the beer produced a one finger creamy off white head. The retention of the beer is fair and no lacing on the glass as it dissipated. The color of the beer is SRM 6 A golden yellow with amber hues. The clarity of the beer is clear to brilliant.

The aromas in beer are coffee, latte, chocolate, peanut, butter, toffee, caramel, biscuit, crackers, toasted sugars, earthy, cereal, milk, and a subtle fruitiness. The aromas remind me of a coffee chocolate peanut butter shake.

The flavors of the beer are chocolate, caramel, peanut butter, crackers, biscuit, toasted sugars, earthy, fruitiness, cereal, coffee, and a hint of bananas.

The mouthfeel of the beer is creamy and flat.

The body of the beer is medium, no carbonation, and a medium finish.

When I was nosing the beer it smelt incredible. My mouth began to water. Then I took a taste, the biggest let down in a beer. The best way to equate this for me: a ride at the amusement park has this huge hype, you finally ride and say really I wait for this. Now this beer does not have any hype thankfully. If the beer tasted as good as it smelt, boom your in business. Adding Nitro into the mix, this beer takes on this miserable mouthfeel. Lastly making this beer a golden stout, is a gimmick. This gimmick to the beer, for me failed on an epic scale. I was craving those dark beer notes in the beer, alas I did not get any. It will take me a little bit of time to consume this beer.

Pours a murky light yellow with a white head that forms from the bottom and dissipates quickly. Nice leggings when swirled, Aroma is peanut butter. Flavor follows. Feel is smooth and creamy with minimal carbonation. Overall a nice golden milk stout.
