Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The brew pours a clear golden color with a one finger head of puffy white foam. The head has a decent level of retention, fading over time and leaving a decent amount of streaky lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is heaviest of a grapefruit hop aroma mixed with a little bit of a cracker and bready malt. Along with these smells comes a touch of tangerine and grape and a little bit of grain and hay. Overall, the aroma is rather crisp smelling.
Taste – The taste begins with a crisp cracker malt base mixed with a touch of light harvest fruit sweetness. Right from the start there is a decent showing of a grapefruit hop flavor, with this flavor persisting throughout the flavor profile. Other flavors of a light earth and hay mix in toward the end, leaving one with a nice crisp and clean pale flavor to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is light with a carbonation level that is a bit on the higher side. For the crisp flavors and nature of the brew the feel is great and makes for a crisp refreshing sipper.
Overall – A rather nice, dry, and crisp brew with a very easy drinking and refreshing profile. Would certainly do this one again.

Great! Mild but yummy flavors. Best pale ale I've ever had.

Tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from a one pint can on March 26, 2021. Brewed in collaboration with the Deftones. Notes of grapefruit, lemon and pineapple.

Picked up at Trader Joe’s.
Pours a crystal clear with nice foaming. Light aroma. Nicely hopped, just enough to give it some crisp citrus notes. Easy drinking pale ale. Crushable, even. Dank note emerged as it warms.
