a tasty new hazy pale from these guys, in the new england style the line is especially blurry between pale and ipa, and this one walks the line, its light and balanced, neither overly hazy nor overly hopped, no green bite, no heavy starchy body, its smooth and mellow, almost creamy feeling, washed out yellow toned, with a great head from the tap, thick as shaving cream and pure white, lots of bubbles visible through the even haze. the nose and flavor are similar, fresh as can be, ripe kiwi fruit, lime leaf, and key lime, galaxy and citra are the hops, and i get galaxy first for sure. some light honey character in the flavor but this isnt sweet in the least. green grape and pear notes to me along with the southern hemisphere vibes, and the soft wheaty earthy grain base suits this well, lighter than most, delicate even for a hazy, super effervescent and dry too, so this is crazy drinkable as these go. love the almost zero bitterness too, the herbal freshness, and overall this presents as very springy to me, in bloom, brand new, optimistic. very good. these guys have stepped up their game on the hoppy stuff big time over the last year or so, i have like a lot of them, and this pale is a good addition to their lineup. modern and very cleaned up for the style. yum.
