Copenhagen 27/8 2022. 47,3 cl can from Meny, Vermlandsgade, Kbh. S. Colorful can with a Beaver taking a nap in a hammock.
Pours unclear - almost hazy - golden amber with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as thin but unbroken layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a light sweet malty odor soon overwhelmed by an abundance of citrus fruit with a dry vibe. Caramel and peach. Grapefruit and lemon.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a stronger citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
Fine citric drink leaving my mouth dry!

Pours a slightly murky golden yellow with a thin white cap that fades quickly but leaves decent lacing. Bubbles continue to rise from the bottom throughout. Aroma is faint, some fruit and hops. Flavor follows the nose, sweet melon and some citrus up front with a touch of bitter hops in the finish. Feel is on the lighter side of medium bodied with good carbonation. Overall, a very drinkable ale without any outstanding qualities. Nice enough but not special.
