From tap. Pretty malty with subtle hoppyness.

Serving Type: On-tap at Breakwater Brewery poured into a pint glass.
Appearance: Reddish-amber in color with a solid head and great lacing. Very good start.
Smell: Disappointing after the beautiful appearance as the aroma is rather weak. Citra hops stand out somwhat but I do not detect any malt.
Taste: Unfortunately, the scores continue to go down for this one. I found the taste to be rather watered down with a lack of malt flavor. It has some bitter from the minimal hops but it is not a smooth bitter. It's drinkable for sure, but not very enjoyable.
Mouthfeel: The body was far too light but it did have very good carbonation.
Overall: I was disappointed by this brew but would like to try some of Belching Beavers' other offerings. As they advertise this one as an India Red Ale, I was especially disappointed by the lack of hop flavor.
