Pretty good IPA, your typical cascade like grassy aroma, nicely carbonated, hop flavor good. Not great but not meh.

Asked the bartender at the tasting room what type of barrels this DIPA was aged in and was pretty surprised to hear bourbon. Seems like more breweries are trying this out, so I decided to give it a go.
A: Pours a hazy orange-ish brown color with almost no head. Looks intriguing.
S: Great bourbon notes on the nose. Toasted oak, vanilla, coconut and booze. Not getting much of the DIPA in here, but I love the bourbon aroma.
T: Oh no. A total hot mess of bourbon without a trace of anything else. Sticky, boozy, hot and disastrous. I wasn't sure how this combo was going to work going in, and I'm pretty sure it can't work after trying this. Avoid.
