On tap at the North Park tasting room on 30th Street. They call it a "Belgian session ale." It seems like a lighter Red Ale with touch of yeast.
Handsome coppery color in the pint shaker with a modest cap of foam. Sharp on the tongue with a little tingle of carbonation. Thin body that starts out with the kiss of hops and ends with the dry yeasty taste. Some malty richness with a tart sensation.
The hops have a rather earthy flavor. Overall, this is on the the dry and tart side with a faint fruity hint. Pomegranate seeds and burnt rye toast. Plenty drinkable with an aromatic hoppy tang.
