From bottle, pours clear bright Amber with a disappointing head that disapates to a white ring around the glass. Aroma sweet, grainey, grassy. Taste is wet cardboard, grainey your typical beer.

Have drunk a few over the last couple of days thinking it was another in the Hahn Super Dry range. very soap and nowhere as crisp as the Super Drys. Opened one Tonight and found it had a brown sludge stuck to the inside of the bottle. After I left it sitting for a while the sludge slide to the bottom of the bottle - yuk this is the worse beer I've come across. This sludge isn't like the sidiment you would find in a dark ale, it's a slimy looking sticky much that was stuck to the side of the bottle. I have a picture to post, but no where to post. Want my money back!!!!

330ml clear bottle purchased for me by my lovely (if twisted) wife, who malevolently served it to me blind as a "surprise".

Pours a fizzling unpleasant clear golden colour with a minimal, disappointing head of white, that forms only a linked ring of large bubbles. Some very thin chained lace. Carbonation forms in large bubbles, all around the glass. Overall, it looks extremely standard. The clarity is nice, but the head is not, the body is weak and it just looks like one of those beers you're going to hate.

Nose is sweet and grainy, with sugary slickness forming its basis, over which we get some grassy characters a little skunkiness. Some crispness comes through as well, surprisingly pleasantly: perhaps a mild blend of carbonation and whatever weak hop notes are present. It's certainly not great, but it's not as bad as it could have been.

Taste is bland and weak. Sweet bready, grainy characters slide through from front to back without anything else really doing much. Slight prickle of carbonation towards the back, with a commensurate uptick in crispness and a little carbonic acidity. Again, it's very bland, but it's not awful, certainly not actively offensive.

Feel is light and disappointingly flat, especially given the carbonation. Apart from the tingle on the back, it feels really quite weak.

But still, this is not undrinkable. Yes, it's dull, yes it's flat and lacking depth, complexity and interest. But it's crisp and swift and chuggable. There's something to be said for that on occasion.
