September 2020, was the all green can compared to the picture here.
Pours a dirty golden yellow color. Dirty meaning there isn't clarity. Not hazy. 1/3" white head. The aroma isn't as hoppy as the hop on the can design would lead you to believe. There is a mild lemon grapefruit and pine like contingency going on, light woodiness.
Taste pushes in much the same direction. This is a weird beer that makes you wish there was crystal malt (or moreso). While not relying on those old school C hops, sometimes a heartier maltiness is best paired. Here we have lemon drop and Eureka I think, but the result is the same, a lemon and pine feel that could use a tad of crystal.
One of those weird mouth feels where I want more maltiness in a pale ale, go figure. Never happy barf is. At this point I'm starting to think Texas is much like Wisconsin, they do a lot of great things, but top tier hoppiness remains a reach. Serviceable but nothing to write home about.

pours a slightly hazy yellow shiny gold body with billowing big-bubbled fluff white head with high retention that leaves sudsy ropes of lacing as it slowly settles to a halo
tangy citrus lemony aroma up front, fairly pungent and near-dank fruit and pine hop
the taste follows the nose and finishes with a mildly earthy hop bitterness. grapefruit, lemon, background pine suggestions, bready malt backbone present; turns towards grainy and leans into grapefruit when it warms up
moderate carbonation, medium-light bodied; fluffy feeling with carbo prickles and an earthy dry finish. slightly chewy. takes on more oil and booze heat shades as it sits with you.
overall:
looks better than it smells, smells better than it tastes, and the feel is interesting. a solid brew, but not my personal favorite combo in the flavor department, as it feels a bit subdued by the lively mouthfeel, especially after the smell had set a level of expectation. still, it is a very pleasant sit'n'sipper that I'll no doubt come back to on the regular.

Pours a very hazy yellow, tall creamy white head. As soon as I cracked this beer I got hit with a citrus wave, very fruity aroma. Taste follows the nose, the beer finishes with an earthy taste. Pretty high carbonation & a slightly thin feel to it.

Poured from can into tulip, good 2 finger cream colored head. Bright golden in the class, somewhat clear, slight chill haze. Getting big citrus on the nose, grapefruit, pine and some very light dankness. Taste is somewhat rocking with the citrus, mango and grapefruit. Smooth thru the middle with a nice mild bitterness on the end. The grapefruit is what lingers on the palate, not the pith but the meat part. Really smooth drinking, can't believe I just tried this beer.

Appearance: Hazy yellow amber glass holds a bright white finger of head that medium peaks of whipped cream.
Aroma: Citric, lemon hop notes, with a hint of under attenuated malt sweetness.
Taste: Hop flavors are just slightly bitter and tea like, some earthy notes, not much of the citric from the nose. A fairly balanced profile with a grainy malt base.
Mouthfeel: Sudsy, high carbonation with a medium low body unable to support it. A slow oily bitter grows after swallow and brings a little heat.
Overall: A tasty pale ale, goes a bit wheat/grainy and has a flash of a wit somewhere in there. It's fairly light but doesn't over commit on hops and can carry what it has. The mouthfeel is a little small for my tastes, I like it chewy, but that's a ding on style more than this beer.
Solid Texas beer, worth a try.

12oz can, wine glass, canned 8/16/17.
Slightly hazy yellow and a good finger that comes down to a thin cap. There's a little lacing.
Fruity pine, bubble gum, yellow raisins, mint, candied lemon, peach.
I love that they're breeding new hops! Mint, lemonade, pine,
Great medium bodied beer with refreshing medium-high carbonation that lets all the flavors out.
After Community Mosaic IPA I was expecting a good pale ale. This follows in the footsteps of that well balanced and hoppy beer. It's pungent and floral and delicious.
