Look is slightly hazy, dark gold with a moderate white head. Head subsides quickly, lots of lacing. Smells like a west coast IPA. (Good-Bad?) I don’t know. Lots of citrus, my guess is cascade, amarillo, centennial, etc....... The malt profile is there, but the hops overpower it so all you have is a sweet aftertaste. The ibu’s are high but not out of bounds, I’d say about 50. The high abv is totally hidden but you feel it very quickly. This is an American original, if your thinking of a strong Heineken or strong German Pilsner, this is not it and you’ll be disappointed. In all honesty it’s just like an imperial IPA. I was actually hoping it would be more like a craft malt liquor. I’m confused as to what an IPL should taste like so take my review however you want. I’m not really into ipa’s anymore so I can’t say that I really enjoy this. It is very well made and a totally fine beer. If you like hoppy ipas with a heavy malt backbone, you’ll like this.

Trying this again since I forgot I’d already reviewed it. My Impression this time is SWEET.
The first thing I notice is how sweet it is, I can’t really tell what kind of hops are used but it’s bitter enough to almost balance it. Still a little too sweet. It’s definitely strong, no more than a pint is needed to knock your dick in the dirt.
Cheers
