09/09/23 printed on bottom of 19.2oz can poured into a teku glass on Nov 4, 2023.
Appearance - Hazy gold body. Fine pancake-batter white head. With decent if irregular lacing, weak to decent stick, decent to good retention. One finger. 3.75
Smell - Orange /lime rind. With some grassy hop and balancing amount of caramel malt beneath that citrus forward nose. Bit bitter. 3.75
Taste - Citrus rind. Grass and honey. Grass clippings. Bold and a bit imbalanced for the style. Still tasty. But you'll want to be a little hop-minded for this one.
Mouthfeel - I will forever associate the mouthfeel of the beer with my girlfriend laughing while I attempted to arouse her by saying "uwu" in Macho Man Randy Savage's voice. Also medium bodied, creamy, and clean. 4
Overall - Sessionable. Hides its alcohol well. Though punchy for the style. 4

A tasty one tho not quite what I expected. I guess with super dank on the can, I thought there would be so much dankness your cheeks would pucker. Well that's not quite what I got from it, but neither was I disappointed. It's a solid beer from a solid brewery, enjoyable to the last drop

Dankness is there but is beautifully/mistakingly restrained, I can’t tell. Very balanced and well done but lacks just a little bit of soul. Wish it was more aggressive. Like a super dank double ipa for beginners and that ain’t bad! Your mom goes to college.

pours a super hazy orange body that fades to yellow towards the edges and has a frothy rocky white foam head that has moderately high retention and leaves thick slathers of lacing behind as it settles to a rocky murky cap with defined halo
aroma is sweet and dank hop rich with citrus and lowkey resinous pine that teeters towards herbal. dank level 8 out of 10. more sweet this go around it seems
taste is sweet but mellow bright citrus with a touch of melon and loads of oj and mango and a dash of cream-adjacent vanilla. pine lingers more towards the back end, especially in the finish as it bitters up, but ultimately hits an herbal note overall. coconut appears late game, complimenting the vanilla-like notes, and the bright citrus notes get a certain bite along the same timeline.
mouthfeel is very high carbonation with a medium-thick body that runs smooth and pillowy up front before drying up towards the finish, and gets more grainy and crisp as it warms. the aftertaste is pine and coconut and oj tinged with over-ripened mango.
overall:
a fairly complicated but ultimately easy DubNEIPA that changes quite a bit if you manage to sip on it over the course of 20 odd minutes. the abv is hidden, the fruit is at once mellow and bright, juicy then crisp but ultimately benefits from a solid balance and comfortable feel. no, it's not quite as dank as advertised, but it is indeed on the higher dank level and has a good pine backend that helps, but it winds up ultimately hitting a more herbal note that late game feels more like bong water than deep dank hop. shoot, maybe it's too dank or I have a weird dank barometer here. either way, it's a solid brew and I was not let down after springing for the four pack.

Pours a very cloudy, opaque golden color with a thick foamy head. Head retention is good. Lacing is very good. Has nice, fresh citrus, tropical aroma. There may be a hint of vanilla and coconut. Nice juicy taste. Orange upfront with some coconut and vanilla, ending with some pineapple at the very end. Medium-bodied with moderate carbonation. Very good.

Had Kush poured from pint can, no date, gift from friend, into nonic pint.
Pours hazy orange-juice gold, with huge creamy off-white head, with good retention, leaving classic etched Belgian lace. Aroma is dank off pour, and tropical fruit and then biting citrus as warms. Full mouthfeel to start, then immediate dankness sets in, leading into tropical and biting fruit, over some mild, grainy pilsner malt, before a citrus rind, rather biting finish.
Beautiful beer, dank, tropical, and citrusy, with a nice citrus peel finish.

This beer pours a super hazy & cloudy or yellow, has a nice two finger white head that stays. Smells heavily of citrus & pine, lots of fruity notes. Taste definitely follows the nose, picking up some pineapple flavors as well. The feel is a bit like cream, thick & dense. This beer tops it as one of my favorite Double IPA's, it is truly bitchin. Only downside is that this beer is a small batch series & isn't easily available.
