Pours a dark burnished golden color. Completely clear. A good four to five finger white sudsy head forms on the beer when it's poured. The head shows some outstanding retention. Aroma has notes of wet grain, sweet bready malt, and some dried grass. Taste follows the nose with grain, wet hay, and some sweet bready malts giving way to a grassy, herbal, mildly bitter finish. Feel is light, crisp, and easy drinking. Bright carbonation.

Overall a nice kölsch, fits the bill of the style quite well.

16oz tallboy can poured into Dovetail branded Stange style glass.

can reads "born on 05/05/2022"

Appearance: Yellow bodied beer with bone white head.

Smell: Lightly toasted grains and fruity yeast.

Taste: Lightly toasted grains and hint of corn sweetness. Fruity lager yeast. Finishes with a bubblegum sweetness. Not really traditional Kolsch, but I like it anyways.

Mouthfeel: Light bodied beer with moderate carbonation levels. lightly crisp and slightly dry finish.

Overall: I think that Triptych has a great crispy beer program. I like this kolsch, but I feel like it is sweeter than most Kolsch that I have tried before. It a notable fact, but I don't care because this triptych beer is still really tasty at the end of the day.

My good friend and old neighbor from Oswego gave me a can of this. It poured a clear golden with thin white head that is not leaving any lace. The scent had faint grain notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with subtle biscuit presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall its a good beer.
