Poured from the tap at Varner's into a pint glass. The appearance is a clear amber color with a small off- white head. The aroma is hop driven with some citrus and spice noted. The taste is slightly bitter with citrus hops.

On tap in Atlanta.
Clear orange-amber is unusual but attractive. Decent head.
Rather mild, fruity aroma, but the flavor packs a lot of hops for a session beer. Unfortunately, IMO, this is mainly herbal and grassy with little fruitiness even though it is there in the aroma.
Light-medium body with near medium carbonation.

Appearance: Pours clear amber, with and off white head. Solid lasting power/lacing (4.00)
Aroma: Medium high hop aromas of orange, spice, and assorted tropical fruit. (4.25)
Flavor/Mouthfeel: Medium-high astringent bitterness attacks first, covering up alot of hop flavor. You can make out lemon and grapefruit peel. Malt backbone is totally non existent, which i don't mind in itself. But 92 IBUs need some amount of balance IMO. Finish is bone dry and a lingering citrus peel oil astringency. (3.60)
Overall: A cool attempt, and an interesting beer to try, but wouldn't be a personal go to if it were packaged. (3.75)
