L - Copper, no clarity, 2 fingers of head, and lots of lacing left all over the glass

S - Citrus and bitter hops, caramel malts. Amazing aroma.

T - Fairly bitter and very malty, almost like a Red IPA. Really good!

F - Medium body and carbonation

O - Reading the older reviews - Blue Tarp must have improved this one. It's fantastic in my opinion.

Caramel Malt, pine and earthy resin. A bit grassy. No dating on the can. This could be old or not that good or both. Probably would never drink again by choice, but if someone offered it to me I wouldn't turn it down.

This is a good IPA. When I first commented on it, I had apparently experienced some problems with aftertaste that no longer bother me in the least. I love this beer. The cans have a nice off-beat design that I like.

I'm a local guy from decatur...love the blue tarp funk weisse. Really want this brewery to do well. But man this beer is not great. Waaay to malty for an ipa. Can't really get the cascade flavor.
Nice can though.

I always get excited when I see a new local IPA on the shelf, and I hate to trash a hometown brew, but this is an absolute joke. Pours like a brown ale, tastes like...hell, I don't know. Both me and my buddy took one sip and headed for the drain. Simply awful.

On tap at Taco Mac, which means this beer could have been mediocre or just mishandled.

A - Unpleasantly dark amber. No head.

S - Tons of malt, slightly soapy hop aroma, and a touch of booze.

T - Not bad. Malt forward, intensely bitter. For a single hop beer, the cascade flavor is disappointingly muddled.

M - Medium bodied, somewhat syrupy.

O - Far from a disaster, but I wouldn't drink this again.
