Pours a slightly hazy gold colour with minimal head. No smell to be found. The taste is a bit bitter, some hops, perhaps a bit of a citrus tone. Nothing spectacular, even for a diet beer

355 mL can from the LCBO; dated Apr 7 2021 and served slightly chilled. "Keto-friendly" according to the label.
Pours a slightly foggy straw yellow colour, topped with one finger of foamy white head that lasts for a couple of minutes before being reduced to a soapy collar and filmy cap. A few strands of lacing are also flung about in the process; looks fine to me. Not much of anything on the nose, really - I'm getting a wisp of wheaty grains and orchard fruit, and that's about it.
Inoffensive and fairly plain as a pale ale - wheaty malts, light cereal graininess and some muddled, subdued flavours of earthy, grassy hops and orchard fruit skin, finishing with an odd astringent flavour that must be from the monkfruit. Thin in body, with aggressive carbonation that remains spritzy and prickly right down to the last gulp. It's easy to drink quickly, and not really interesting enough to take your time with.
Final Grade: 3.28, a C+. Radical Road's 4-Track is a passable session ale, but it's no more of an IPA than Alexander Keith's. Perhaps "session IPA" would be a bit easier to swallow, but even by that metric it's an unimpressive example. I'd say it's more of a blonde ale, and an extremely light, watery one at that. Not something I plan to return to frequently, if at all - if you're looking for a low cal pale ale, it's worth a look at least, but if you're expecting anything else you may be disappointed.
