Appearance: hazy reddish orange color with a short 1/4" head. No lacing develops.

Smell: cherries are easily detectable, but it is the lone tone the nose picks up.

Taste: mild tart cherries and wheat levels are nicely balanced. Mild bitterness and somewhat refreshing.

Mouthfeel: super crisp at the start and finish. The tart cherry tones linger well into the aftertaste.

Drinkability: just above average for me, as this is a nice one beer session as the cherries are nice but could become old over time. Worth a look.

Sampled on tap at the brewpub.

This Cherry Wheat ale poured a clear, golden color with white foam that persisted a while. The smell was a strong aroma of tart cherries plus some malt. The flavor was firstly tart cherries with a bit of malt flavor trying to poke through the fruitiness, and as the glass warmed a hint of hops peeeked through. The mouthfeel was crisp and tangy and fruity with medium-light body and moderate carbonation. There was a mild, lingering cherry aftertaste (not surprisingly). This ale lived up to its name, and it is not a bad beer, as fruit beers go, and seemed rather popular at the bar. It was easy to drink and will likely be an even bigger hit in warmer weather.
