Enjoyed the nitro version on tap.
Pours a cloudy brownish-red with a minimal light tan head that leaves spotty lace.
The aroma is fruity with a slight funk, winey notes and a hit of booze.
The taste is lead by dark cherry notes that lingers on the tongue, there is some slight tartness, a bit of red wine and a jammy, sweet note near the end of the swallow. Booze backs it up as the cherry flavor settles on the tongue. A bit of funk as well.
Mouthfeel is medium, smooth and creamy.
Very good. Might be better without the nitro?
