750ml beer. Poured out a light red color with a pinkish head of foam. It smelled of raspberry, lemon and caramel. Tasted like raspberry, like straight raspberries squeezed into a bottle. Tart and sour.

i really liked this one too, as sort of simple as it is. some may call it one dimensional, but i call it approachable and drinkable and refreshing, and delightfully restrained even. its a pretty electric pink color, pretty clear, and with a patchy white head on it, looks a little thin, but the color is gorgeous. the aroma is nice too tart fresh raspberries, honest to the fruit, and a moderate lacto sourness, clean and without any weird off or rushed front end souring aromas. the flavor is great, and with the malt character so minimal here, this is really a two flavor element experience between the ripe red raspberries and the clean citrusy sourness, neither one over the top, neither one in a hurry to stand out above the other, and just sort of a relaxed equilibrium between the two. there is a little jammy sweetness from the fruit, but its tart too, and its all cleaned up perfectly by the finish. easy drinking stuff, not too sour to session, and a simple but well done beer, my first sour from these guys. i could see almost any fruit working in this base beer, im sure they will get to experimenting with others before long...

I'm in love with this sour! It is not over bearing. It is smooth and crisp. Red as a raspberry. I can't get enough!
