Zipline Latte Imperial Stout, 10% ABV. Pours black with a one finger light brown head that left slight lacing. Nose is strong coffee, taste follows, very slight sweetness, moderately bitter. Decent mouthfeel, overall very good.

Pours black with three fingers of mocha colored foam. Head retention is pretty good. Aroma is lactose, chocolate, coffee, and roasty and toasty malts. Mild caramel and toffee help add a little further sweetness. Semi sweet on the nose with a hearty roasty stout underneath. Flavor profile brings more of the same, lactose layers over and between notes of chocolate, coffee, and molasses. Roasty and toasty malts form the foundation. Late caramel and very mild toffee add a little further sweetness. As a whole, it leans towards being a dessert beer, but without the sickly, sticky, and cloying syrupy taste that same dessert stouts deliver. Mouth feel is medium-thick with a creamy texture. Snot loogies in the form of slugs add some undesirable texture. Overall, a solid dessert-like stout. Latte notes are solid and well used here.
Served in a 15.5oz Spiegelau tulip from a 12oz bottle.

12 oz bottle, can't see a date, poured into Prairie Rastal.
Absolutely gorgeous pour. Super thick, not a hint of anorexia, and it forms an equally thick brown-beige head of 2 fingers. Leaves lace as it slowly recedes to a half finger. Incredible.
Aroma is true to its namesake. Tons, and I mean tons, of Java, with steamed milk, cocoa bean, and vanilla semi-sweetness.
Flavor brings a furious and quick hit of fresh morning coffee, followed in large part by what I can only call canned mushrooms doused in black pepper, then steamed sour milk, peppered jerky, slight infection twang, bitter romaine, and a hint of burnt caramel popcorn.
Feel is smooth and creamy, with an intense hit of alcohol which is not uncommon for a 10% beer. Lots of buzzing carbonation, and a drying, trying, parching finish.
Overall, Latte Stout struggles on the tastebuds. This thing is a monster in nearly every other aspect, which puzzles me as to why it fell apart on the palate. Would not buy again.

Pours midnight black with a nice foam that transforms from a bubbly two finger caramel colored head to a bronze sculpted foam that leaves traces of lattice. Aroma is very light coffee. Taste is a moderate bodied, roasted malt followed by an aftertaste of espresso that lingers. An interesting offering.

A: The beer is jet black in color. It poured with a quarter finger high dense tan head that died down and left delicate lacing covering the surface and a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of coffee beans are present in the nose. Hints of licorice also become perceptible as the beer begins to warm up.
T: The taste follows the smell and has additional hints of roasted flavors from the malts and beans. There is a light to moderate amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I didn't really get that much of the latte in this beer (except for its initial head) but it makes for a very nice coffee stout.
