Imperial Toffee Stout

12oz bottle EB date 2/13/22 into a large snifter glass. This beer was recommended to me by a Hyvee store manager as one of his favorite picks.
L: Pours jet black with a 2 finger tan head that is creamy in the center and bubbly at the edges. Very good retention, no visible carbonation and some light, random sticky lacing.
S: Big toffee, milk chocolate, light vanilla, light coffee, cocoa powder, light maple syrup and toasted waffle.
T: Sweet, rich toffee, buttery caramel, milk chocolate, caramelized dark roasted and toasty malts, light vanilla. Well balanced, moderately sweet and is very lightly bitter. No taste of alcohol.
F: Creamy, fluffy & whipped, plush, soft medium-full bodied mouthfeel with a medium length finish.
O: Great tasting ingredients are balanced out in this Imperial Stout so it's not over the top with flavorings. It's 9%ABV is very well masked. Everything about it is superb and it is very excellent in it's style.

Zip Line Imperial Toffee Stout, 9% ABV. Pours black with a two-finger light-brown head that left great lacing. Nose is a REAL nice strong toffee and chocolate. Taste follows, plus roast malt, faintly sweet, slightly bitter. Excellent mouthfeel, overall most excellent. This beer was made with Hy-Vee toffee.
