Poured on-tap at Trophy and served in a stemmed pint, the beer is a brown-to-black coloring, with a light tan head that clings all over the glass as you drink. Nose of milk chocolate, roasted notes, hints of booze, and creamy highlights. Flavors are roast coffee and bittersweet chocolate forward, with a subtle cream backbone. Smooth and rich in mouth, with a bitter and roasted aftertaste, like mocha. The finish is dry, bitter, and with a roasted linger. Heavy, but delicious.
