Tasted 8/14/16 from the bottle (bottled on 5/23/15). As another reviewer noted the bottle was capped and corked. And the cork was ridiculously hard to get out. Black cherry tones on the nose with some funk. Feel was slightly carbonated. Somewhat harsh on the back of the throat with the aftertaste. Not sure what that is or how to describe it. But it tingles / irritates a bit. Overall a nice flanders that I would enjoy again.

Appearance: Corked and capped and the cork was a pain to remove; still, the beer poured a tawny color with a frothy but quickly dissipating head; very decent lacing action, however
Smell: Somewhat funky cherry tones; rather oaky, too
Taste: Black cherry on the tip of the tongue with lactic tartness building; oak and funk arrive, after the swallow, but the fresh fruit flavors are dominant; the sourness builds a bit, in the aftertaste, as does the oak
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation; slight pucker factor
Overall: Could have more funk and sourness but this is still a very approachable Flanders
Thanks, CavemanRamblin, for the opportunity
