Drinking this at the Trophy Brewery in Raleigh NC.
On tap poured into a tulip glass.
Appears brown, almost black with a nice head and lacing.
Smells chocolatey, malty, cinnamon.
Taste follows the nose.
Mouth feel is medium for the style, with good carbonation.
Overall, very good and I would definitely order again.

L: Had this beer on-tap at Brewmasters - Wilson, poured into a 10.5oz. stem glass. Had a dark brown / black color and a thick, opaque consistency. There was a half inch of foamy, tan-colored, fairly long-lasting head. Above average lacing.
S: A pretty good aroma of chocolate, cinnamon, malt, cream, nuts, and vanilla.
T: Tasted of a mild amount of cream (lingers around), a fair amount of chocolate (always a good thing), a good shot of cinnamon (not too much, though), a hint of vanilla, and a nutty quality. This is a subtle, well-balanced flavor. It's not as aggressive as some stouts, but it still has quite a bit of flavor.
F: A so-so amount of carbonation with a smooth finish. Medium-bodied.
O: A well done, easy to drink beer. Worth a try.

Appearance - Pours dark chestnut with nice tan head that settles to a thin ring. Spotty lacing all around the glass.
Aroma - Lots of roasted malts, vanilla, chocolate, light nuttiness, sweet toffee.
Taste - The vanilla comes out really nice and smooth. Roasted malts nuttiness comes through well. More bitterness in the taste than I picked up in the nose.
Feel - Medium bodied, smooth light creaminess. Just a hint of dryness on the finish.
Overall - Nicely done stout, the almonds and vanilla come out well. Nice balanced bitterness.

Pours dark, though not jet black, one finger of thin, foamy tan head. Cinnamon, almond, sugar - horchata - on the nose. Solid amount of vanilla ice cream as well. Really striking aroma. Flavor of a horchata, but doesn't quite follow through with the nose. Some burnt bits, bit of a ricey sweetness. Losses me on mouthfeel - a bit thin where I hoped a bit more creaminess. All said, glad I picked it up and an interesting brew.

Definite cinnamon and nutmeg, with some light cacao. Overall a pretty tasty brew, just not my favorite flavors in a stout. The pour was great, thick head but settled quickly. Dark as a stout should be. The feel was slight thin. If you're into cinnamon and nutmeg you would rate it much higher than I did. If you haven't had it, I would recommend it as worth trying. Overall, not bad and fitting for the season.

Dark with a little light coming through.Nice tan head that left a thin curtain of lacing. Aroma is cinnamon, chocolate, coffee and roasted malt. Thin beer that tastes like cinnamon, coffee and twangy chocolate malt. This is a tasty beer.
