King of Boggle is the next up in our hazy NE IPA series. We’ve triple dry-hopped this bad boy for a big hop aroma with notes of pear and apricot.

A: Pours a slightly hazy medium golden apricot in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising from the bottom of the glass and faint pale golden yellow + burnt orange colored highlights. The beer has a three finger tall dense sudsy foamy off-white head that reduces to a couple of medium sized patches of medium thick film surrounded by a large patch of very thin ilm covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Significant amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate aromas of juicy tropical/pineapple, citrus/orange, stone fruit/apricot, herbal, dank resinous, and pear hops over light aromas of biscuit malts with a hint of caramel sweetness.
T: Upfront there are just shy of moderate flavors of biscuit malts with a hint of caramel sweetness. That is followed by moderate to strong flavors of juicy tropical/pineapple, citrus/orange, stone fruit/apricot, herbal, dank resinous, and pear hops which impart a light amount of bitterness which fades away quickly leaving a light lingering apricot hop flavor.
M: Medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Crisp with a slightly smooth mid-body and a light amount of dryness in the finish.
O: Enjoyable and easy to drink with well hidden alcohol but I'm not sure that this specific combination of hops is really my favorite (I prefer a little more a tropical/citrus combination).

Foggy orange-gold under a dense creamy white head. Tropical fruit juice, dank herbs, pineapple, and orange. Creamy mango puree, grassy herbs, grapefruit zest, and apricot. Really tasty and highly drinkable. Smooth medium body and dry, drinking easier than it should. I think this is the best IPA I've had from these folks...more of this, please.
